The Broadband Commission for Sustainable Development’s 2018 Working Group on Digital Entrepreneurship examined the potential of digital entrepreneurship to dramatically improve lives in developing countries, and to help those countries make progress on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

The Broadband Commission 2017 Working Group on the Digital Gender Divide brought Commissioners and experts together to address barriers to women’s access and use of the Internet from a multistakeholder perspective.

The Broadband Commission’s 2014 Working Group on Financing and Investment of the Broadband Commission sought to provide practical and helpful advice on the range of possibilities available for how to make best use of scarce resources, such as public capital and spectrum, to encourage investment in broadband.

The Broadband Commission’s 2013 Working Group on Education provided strategic recommendations for using technology to improve education and increase equity and underscored the importance of information communication technologies (ICTs) in this process.
