Dr. Speranza Ndege,

Dr Speranza Ndege is an ICT/e-Learning specialist with practical experience in training, research, online tutoring and technical advisory services. She holds a PhD, MSC in Computer Based Information Systems, Master of Arts and Bachelor of Education. She has a Postgraduate diploma in e-Teaching. She is the Director, Institute of Open, Distance and e-Learning at Kenyatta University, having previously headed the African Virtual University Learning Centre.

Dr. Ndege is a member of several boards and committees such as: Advisory Board for e-Learning-Africa; Information Technology for Learning, Education and Training for Kenya Bureau of Standards; Planning Committee for National Open University of Kenya; Kenyatta University’s Management Board; Development of University Strategic Plans; and the ICT Technical Resource person for Commission for Higher Education, Kenya among others. She has also consulted and provided advisory services to institutions.
